We are so proud of Andy and Kuangying who both successfully defended their masters theses in December. Congratulations to both of them!

Even though we can’t physically be together in one space, the Hirbe lab virtually celebrated with a surprise baby shower for Himanshi.  Uber eats so everyone could have a meal and some fun games as well!  Congrats, Himanshi.  We are so happy for you!

Dr. Hirbe traveled to Iowa this weekend to meet with her colleagues in the Midwest Sarcoma Trials Partnership to discuss new clinical trial ideas.  Fighting Sarcoma!

Happy Chinese New Year!  The Hirbe lab had another wonderful Chinese New Year celebration led by Xiao.  This year’s special guest was Charlie.  He was a little tired, but loved the dumplings!

We were happy to be able to celebrate with James as he completed his Master of Science in Biostatistics!  We are excited to have him join the lab full time leading up to beginning a PhD program!
