The Hirbe lab is celebrating two big grants which were awarded this month! Dr. Hirbe has joined forces with colleagues at the University of Minnesota (Dr. David Largaespada), Johns Hopkins University (Dr. Christine Pratilas) and Sage Bionetworks (Dr. Sara Gosline) to use the preclinical platform that they have developed to test novel combinations of drugs to tackle these aggressive tumors.
Additionally, we were just awarded a three year grant from the Department of Defense to move forward our promising work regarding TYK2 as a potential target in MPNSTs!
