We enjoyed delicious food and had fun for this early summer in Xiao’s backyard on June 16!

The Hirbe lab was excited to host Dr Yoshihiro Nishida from Nagoya University.  Dr Nishida was able to spend some time learning how our NF Center is run and shared some of the research that he is passionate about.  We truly enjoyed his visit!

Winter has been a little crazy, but we finally celebrated the January and February birthdays in the lab!

We were excited to celebrate the acceptance of Dana’s paper to CCR!  We hope to bring this exciting work to a clinical trial.  Stay tuned!

We had a potluck at Xiao’s house on December 16, 2022, finally after the Pandemic, to celebrate the incoming Christmas and New Year! How wonderful to taste the marvelous meals from everyone!

Dr. Simge Acar just returned from the NFYI forum and had a wonderful time meeting new colleagues and hearing about all of the amazing science!

The Hirbe lab celebrated with a surprise baby shower for Himanshi on July 11th for the second time, after the one in 2020! Thank Dr. Hirbe and Dana for organizing this event, and thank everyone for the gifts!

We were finally enjoying the delicious BBQ food and drinks and sharing fun stories in the blooming flowers at Xiao’s backyard on May 27th, which was originally scheduled for this January! (See the magic of PhotoShop!)

Congratulations to one of our graduate students, Paul Jones, who just received a Scholar-in-Training Award for the 2022 AACR Special Conference on Sarcomas.  Way to go Paul!  Excited to see you showcase our exciting science!

We were enjoying the delicious food from Picklemans on Monday, March 28, as Min will end her rotation and Angie wanted to buy lunch for everyone as a farewell!

We had a great time on December 20, 2021, enjoying the delicious food from Sauce on the Side, to celebrate the incoming Christmas and New Year!
